Stonewall produced this guidance in 2015 to help school staff understand and meet the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) students.
It contains practical guidance and outlines where support might be the same or different for lesbian, gay or bisexual students, and trans students.
Within this guidance it explores how staff can support LGBT young people to stay safe online, identify when a young person may be at risk of significant harm online and provide access to safe websites with relevant and accurate information.
